Attempts 1-10 comprises ten sculptural elements based on Dutch architect Mart Stam's original 1926 Cantilever chair prototype. Stam's prototype utilised basic materials like standard gas pipes and joints, relying on a continuous line for support and decoration. By removing one segment at a time from the original form, the sculpture opens up new associations related to the body and language, with each piece assuming different postures and meanings.
